We are thrilled to share that SADAG’s next Volunteer Counsellor Training begins this week — and we are inviting new volunteers to join our growing family!
If you are over the age of 30, have lived experience with Mental Health, and a passion for helping others, this could be a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference.
Our Volunteer Counsellors support people who are dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, and emotional struggles, offering hope and care to thousands of South Africans every day.
SADAG has branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and KwaZulu-Natal, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit to at least 12 months to serving on our 24/7 Helplines.
To find out more, we are hosting two online Briefing Sessions:
Wednesday, 27 August from 6–7pm and Thursday, 28 August from 1–2pm. These sessions will explain who SADAG is, how our Call Centres work, and what the training programme includes.
If you’d like to apply, simply fill in the application form and register for one of the above sessions.
For any specific questions or more details, please email Tracy at info@anxiety.org.za.
Join SADAG in making Mental Health matter — one call, one conversation, one life at a time.
