If you’ve never experienced Hey Hillbrow! Let’s Dlala!, this is the year to go.
The Windybrow Arts Centre continues to push creative boundaries, transforming the streets of Hillbrow into one of Joburg’s most colourful and imaginative public celebrations.
This year’s Arise! parade will see more than 350 children and young people fill the streets with giant handmade bird costumes, music, dance and larger-than-life performances celebrating freedom, hope and community.
It is timed to coincide with Women’s Month and Hillbrow will once again prove why it’s one of Johannesburg’s most exciting cultural precincts.
