Timothy Zivuchi was born in Zimbabwe in 1970 and is the Area Sales Manager of Mukuru Inter Africa, a company with a footprint in 60 African countries, and is there to help foreign nationals (mainly from Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique) in Cosmo City send money home to their families.
Timothy Zivuchi came to Johannesburg and stayed in Bryanston before moving to Cosmo City. The Mukuru Inter Africa brand was established in Cosmo City. “The Mukuru Inter Africa idea came from the demand that we saw in Cosmo City and how people desperately needed to send money home.
We are currently doing well. We have three sales agents who earn a commission by doing door-to-door sales”.
“We do have a dream of not just sending money, we also are looking at sending goods home and having transport to get people home,” said Zivuchi.
