Javas Ndlovu is a community and LGBTQIA+ activist who has been involved in organising sports tournaments for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Ndlovu is also an accomplished football coach with a proven track record of helping athletes to achieve their maximum level of athletic potential.
Ndlovu says: “LGBTQIA+ athletes are treated badly by other coaches because of their sexual orientation. Coaches have accused athletes of acting like men. This shows a lack of respect and ignorance, because our constitution protects gender diversity and sexual orientation in this country. Coaches and officials must attend workshops about the LGBTQIA+ community.”
