The WAFCON 2024 final is set to take place on July 26, 2024, at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, Morocco. The match will feature Nigeria, who are chasing a record-extending 10th title, and Morocco, aiming for their first continental crown.
The delayed 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (or WAFCON 2024) is being played across six stadiums, from 5 to 26 July in Morocco.
Postponed for 12 months due to last year’s Olympic Games Paris 2024, the tournament sees the continent’s top 12 women’s national football teams compete for the right to be called African champions.
It is the second straight WAFCON to be hosted by Morocco. South Africa won the 2022 tournament, also held in the North African country.
