2021 will go down as one of the most important years in South Africa’s democratic history.
For the first time, more South Africans than ever before, will have a glimpse of a future outside of the ANC, and ActionSA is proud to have played a vital role in that process.
In just over one year of Action SA‘s existence, we have spearheaded the ANC’s removal from power in the Gauteng Metros and roped in other parties to further that cause.

Contesting just 6 out of 278 municipalities, ActionSA received a total of 547,862 votes, making us the 6th largest party nationally.
Importantly, ActionSA achieved this historic accomplishment by attracting voters from across the political spectrum and helping to bring the ANC below 50% nationally for the first time since 1994.

Our focus now turns to good governance and quality services to all residents in the municipalities where we are involved, while building our structures to remove the ANC from National Government in 2024.
It’s only a matter of time until South Africa truly benefits all who live in it.
I want to again say a big thank you to those that have supported us throughout this journey. This is truly only the beginning. The road to 2024 starts now!
Yours,
Herman Mashaba
