This week is especially meaningful as we begin our first Mental Health Campaign of 2026.
We are proud to launch Support Group Awareness Week with the theme: “Healing through Connection.”
Just a reminder: a Support Group is not therapy or counselling. It is a Group of people who come together to help one another feel supported through similar or shared lived experiences.
Joining a Support Group, or choosing to start one, is a powerful act of commitment. We all long to connect with others, yet Depression, Anxiety, and other Mental Health challenges can leave people feeling isolated and misunderstood.
The fear of stigma and judgement often makes it difficult to open up, even to those we love.
This silence can deepen loneliness and make struggles feel even heavier.
