With just a few weeks to go, the Global Entrepreneurship Congress Africa (GEC+Africa) under the theme Connecting Africa carries the values of inclusion, unity, and collaboration that underpin our mission, to Connecting Africa.
Through these values we condemn any acts of xenophobia or afrophobia and continue on our mission of connecting entrepreneurs, investors, policy makers and ecosystem enablers across the continent and the world at large.
As we build toward the congress, we are encouraged by the support received from our African ecosystem partners having hosted Regional Bootcamps and Pitch Competitions in various African countries. GEC+Africa will bring innovators and ecosystem enablers to the Congress from these countries in a month’s time.
To ensure a smooth visa process, we are working closely with the South African Government. Delegates are encouraged to allocate sufficient time when applying for visas and we look forward to welcoming Africa’s ecosystem players to Cape Town, from 16 – 17 September 2026.
