Youth in South Africa continue to be disadvantaged in the labour market with an unemployment rate higher than the national average. Graduates account for 2.7% of unemployed South Africans, while 7.5% have other tertiary education according to Stats SA as of 2023.
Although the graduate unemployment rate remains relatively low in South Africa compared to those of other educational levels, unemployment among the youth continues to be a burden, irrespective of educational attainment.
So here is a list of some available graduate internships to help ease the graduate unemployed rate. Note, the different internships have different closing dates.
