Blue Eagle High School has once again topped all the high schools in City Cosmo with 87.2% overall pass mark in the 2023 National Senior Certificate Examinations.
The school attributes this achievement to hard work demonstrated by the Grade 12 learners and teachers and the entire staff complement. The support from parents and the School Governing Body and the grace from the almighty God went a long way to the success.
Blue Eagle High School, built on a four-hectare area in extension two at the corner of Tanzania Avenue and Liberia Street, has 28 classrooms, two classrooms and ten toilets, was handed over by Kwik Space Modular Buildings on Friday 11 March 2011, in a drive by the Gauteng Department of Education to overcome and reduce the over-subscription of schools in Cosmo City.
Literacy is a crucial component to economic development as effective literacy skills help to open doors to more employment and education opportunities, so that more people fall out of the circle of poverty and underdevelopment.
