Step 1:
Stand in front of a mirror; look carefully for changes to any part of your breasts, like the shape, size or any discharge.
Step 2:
Place arm behind head, use the opposite hand and gently move fingertips in circular movements. Feel for lumps, thickening or changes. Be thorough and check the armpits. Repeat for the other side.
Step 3:
Next, feel your breasts while lying down, using your right hand to feel your left breast and then your left hand to feel your right breast. Use a firm, smooth touch with the first few finger pads of your hand, keeping the fingers flat and together in a circular motion.
