Climate change is influenced by human activities. Before we put all the blame to businesses, we need to encourage people to avoid littering, buying what they do not need in excess to avoid waste.
We need business to infuse ethics and morals to employees to be environmentally conscious in their actions at work. We cannot compromise environment for economic purposes without sustainability.
Gauteng Climate Change Indaba was initiated by Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development & Environment with a vision to invite ideas and views that can enhance putting Climate change within the core of planing the future of the province.
Stakeholders are welcome to engage in a robust manner to ensure there are no features of Climate change and sustainability that escapes planning. We cannot ignore social challenges and spirituality in the process of just transition that is just to the ordinary and working class.
