The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), in collaboration with the Bloomberg Data for Health Initiative, the US CDC Foundation, and Vital Strategies, is pleased to announce applications for the third Data to Policy (D2P) training programme. The D2P programme equips public health professionals with practical skills to analyse priority health issues, evaluate policy options, and develop evidence-based policy briefs that support government decision-making.
Participant eligibility:
Preferred applicants are professionals working in Epidemiology, Surveillance, Public Health Programmes, Economics, or Policy and Planning. Participants should have foundational skills in descriptive epidemiology, data analysis, and basic literature review.
Team composition:
Applicants should apply as 2–4 member teams, ideally combining expertise in epidemiology, programme implementation, and policy development. Each team must submit individual participant details (up to four members), along with sponsor and supervisor information, and a short description of their proposed policy topic.
