Ivory Park Library is the latest branch to organize communities and invite eLearning office for digital literacy workshops.
On Wednesday, 8 May, more than 20 unemployed youth were introduced to the library website, where they registered for online courses as part of the digital literacy session.
The eLearning manager demonstrated relevant online courses and how to get Microsoft certificates and other topics that the youth can explore, including about online courses on CV creation, project management, and others. The library will continue hosting more groups with the support of the eLearning office.
The youth requested workshops focused on business skills, artificial intelligence, and job hunting. These workshops will be organised between June and September.
