Dr Eurika Mogane, remarkable Medical Specialist and Internationally Accredited Nutritional Therapist, she started off working as an office cleaner to raise her tuition fees and put food on the table.
Against all odds, she obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Sciences and completed a Neuroscience: Sports Vision Testing and Training certificate from the University of Pretoria.
“While studying, I had to dropout of university and return home due to lack of finances. I volunteered at several offices in Mbombela, going from office to office, seeking any opportunity. I got an opportunity to be an office cleaner at a company in Mbombela. Soon after my office work, I got an offer to work with the Cancer Association of South Africa and became one of the youngest African female provincial managers overseeing the Mpumalanga province,” she said.
“I was even offered an opportunity by Duke University to complete a Medical Neuroscience course, and a Diploma in Sports Medicine with the FIFA Medical Network. Online learning became a key focus area for me. I could still do research and offer support where needed. I also hold qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and an Honorary Doctorate from one of the universities in the UK,” said Dr Mogane.
Dr Eurika Mogane is the Founder and CEO of Tharika M Health, a health and wellness center in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
She is also a philanthropist at heart, in 2020 she was part of the partners who assisted in offering community support (food parcels, boreholes, new homes, clothing, etc.) to more than 6 000 families in the Mpumalanga area.
In 2021, Dr Eurika Mogane was selected by the Golden Key International Honorary Society as the Winner of the Outstanding Member Award.
In October 2023, she was appointed as the Princess Royal/Rakgadi by the Mogane Royal Family, her work is to act as an ambassador for the Mogane Royal Family, representing its culture and interests Nationally and Internationally.
