Another Joburg organisation turns 30 this year, and I love the way the Johannesburg Inner City Partnership is choosing to celebrate – by getting out on foot into the city.
JICP has partnered with Joburg Photo Walkers for a free Saturday morning walk through the inner city, with some participants who have worked with the organisation joining the walk and sharing a little history along the way.
The walk follows parts of Joburg’s growing Walkable Network and is open to anyone who loves the city.
You certainly don’t need to be a professional photographer – bring your phone, a friend, some water and comfortable shoes.
