Thungela’s Goedehoop Colliery partnered with Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa, Steve Tshwete Local Municipality , and the Mpumalanga Department of Education , to provide a fully kitted teacher’s communal facility including a staff room, kitchen, and boardroom for KwaZamokuhle Secondary School in Hendrina.
The R1.8 million project fulfils one of Thungela’s impact goals – to improve access to quality education and skills development.
