Sanele Nhlabatsi is an emerging academic at the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) as a Senior Lecturer in project management.
She is a Doctoral candidate for DBA in Program and Project Management at the SKEMA Business School in France, with a research focus on project complexity.
Other qualifications include an MBA International Business from the University of the District of Columbia (USA) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Swaziland.
She boasts 5 years teaching and learning experience, plus supervision of over 15 MBA and MBL research students to completion.
Sanele has developed 10 conference papers presented at global conferences and is a member of the research ethics committee and the research committee.
She is a certified project management practitioner in PRINCE2, MoR, and P30. Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) global and the local South Africa Chapter.
She has over 25 years combined experience as a practitioner in Portfolio, Program, and Project Management Consulting; financial services; and international development management consultancy sectors in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the United States of America (USA).
A seasoned Executive with experience within the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
Previously served as the Managing Director of Standard Bank Fleet Management and as a Regional Director within Standard Bank Africa with responsibilities across nine countries in the SADC region.
Further, she has over 10 year’s project management experience in a USAID contractor environment.
