Lulama Mabala is a lecturer in Recreation Science at North-West University, Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Human Movement Sciences.
She has a background in Health Science, Psychology, and Education.
Mabala says: “African women+ have not only broken records, but they’ve broken barriers, leading teams, owning spaces that were once closed to them, and redefining what power looks like in sport. From grassroots leadership to international stages, we’re seeing a rise in women+ who bring not just talent, but vision, purpose, and resistance to outdated norms.”
