Dr Sam Motsuenyane, who at 36, led the establishment of African Bank during the dark days of apartheid. That is a serious Audacity to Dare and Dream.
Dr Motsuenyane was an Economic Emancipator, Father of Black Business, a Visionary, Farmer, Repository of Knowledge, Courageous and Decisive Leader and a Pioneer in promoting entrepreneurship and black business in the townships during the dark days of apartheid.
He was born on 11 February 1927 in Potchefstroom and educated at North Carolina State University, United States of America. He was a Giant, Titan, Past President of the National African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC) and founding chairman of African Bank. He was Chairman of the Bank for 20 years.
