In a bid to address the lack of a comprehensive and inclusive policy framework that caters to the diverse needs of young people in the FCT, we’re proud to announce that we successfully concluded the two-day stakeholders’ review, validation, and adoption meeting for the FCT Youth Development Policy.
This significant event was a joint effort between YouthHubAfrica and the FCT Administration, with the support of ActionAid Nigeria.
The consultative meeting brought together a range of stakeholders to review and validate the draft policy, which examines sectors such as education, employment, health, social inclusion, and civic engagement.
The discussions were rich with ideas, passion, and a shared commitment to creating a policy that genuinely reflects the needs and aspirations of young people in the FCT.
On the final day, the policy was officially adopted, marking a milestone in our efforts to ensure that the voices of youth are not just heard but heeded.
This policy should be able to act as a guide towards empowering young people in the FCT and driving sustainable development – By YouthHubAfrica!
