The now globally recognised Day set aside for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and Girls runs from 25th of November up until the 10th of December- Global Human Rights Day.
These 16 days, recognised annually seeks to draw the attention of Individuals, Organisations and Institutions towards the elimination of all forms of violence such as Rape, Domestic Abuse, Physical abuse etc., Harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation, Child Marriage/ betrothal, Breast Ironing, etc. globally against women and girls.
Asides advocacy through policy reforms and stakeholder engagements, YouthHubAfrica is also amplifying the voices of women and girls, change makers and activists through storytelling and docu-series to create awareness on the urgency to eliminate all forms of violence against women and Girls.
The #WomenVoices docu-series highlights the everyday struggle of Women that hinders their full expression and participation in the society. This is a ‘Must Watch’!
