At the centre of Sir Gabriel Academy is the mission to empower young minds and equip them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in life.
Sir Gabriel Academy noticed the huge gap in education between the privileged and the underprivileged and we’re working hard to reduce that gap in our community.
Extra lessons are a luxury in most communities and afforded by those already attending private schools that have better resources. Leaving the poor in overcrowded schools that are not so well resourced.
Growing up in a challenging environment, I learnt the importance of hard work, resilience, and determination.
My parents instilled in me a love for education, which has been the foundation of my success. I believe that education can transform lives, and that’s why I started Sir Gabriel Academy for Excellence to give back to my community and empower the next generation.
With this program, we keep students away from social ills like substance abuse, teen parenting, crime, and many other things they’re exposed to once they walk out of the school gates into the community streets.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
We’ve been operating for 7 years, and we’re committed to expanding our reach and impact. We’ve seen remarkable results, including:
Matric students achieving great results, including some who would have failed without our support.
Students who were part of street gangs transforming their lives and focusing on their education.
Success in entrepreneurship is not just about achieving financial freedom but also about making a positive impact in the community. It’s about being innovative, taking calculated risks, and being resilient in the face of challenges.
We learnt the importance of adaptability and resilience during Covid-19, and we’re committed to helping our students develop these skills.
