About the 2026 Accelerator Program
The Google for Startups Accelerator Program is a three-month hybrid accelerator program for growth-stage technology startups.
The Accelerator is designed to bring the best of Google’s programs, products, people, and technology to South African-led startups looking to scale their impact.
Selected startups for the 3-month hybrid program will receive:
● Up to R1 million in equity-free funding per startup.
● Direct access to Google AI expertise, mentors, and technical resources.
● Eligibility Focus: South African-led, historically disadvantaged person (HDP)-owned or controlled startups building functional, growth-stage, AI-driven products/services (special consideration for online intermediation platforms, but open to all sectors).
